We have had a serious problem with SPAMMERS and their automated programs that put garbage in the guestbook. We had to close down the guestbook as a result. The technology has improved over the years. We now have an active book back on line. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Looking for anyone who was over there from March 71 through Nov 71, and just might remember me. Started in Maint and went to the flight platoon. The Bird was DELTA 15.

I'd like to hear from anyone remembering the day before Tet '68 kicked off. I have memories of our ships being sent to Vung Tau (seems we slept on cots in a hanger?)and being scrambled at 4:00 A.M. Also, a friend from Anderson,CA- "Andy" Anderson was in the club there that night. Does anyone remember him and where he is now?

It was a trip down memory lane as I looked at the pictures. I have a few scanned. I'll see if I can send a couple along to your site. The blue infantry racing stripe was painted on by Mel Miller in 1969. You may have noticed he changed the cigar to a tapered yellow paper. His little joke. So much has been forgotten. The combination lock on my locker I opened 3,4,5 or more times a day in Vung Tau I was never able to remember once stateside. The lock never opened again.
